Effective March 15, 2018, US Embassy Manila will begin using the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC®) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) standard tests for Level IV English Proficiency (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) requirement.
All vacancies with Level IV English Proficiency (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) language will now require a valid TOEIC® or TOEFL® score. Test scores are valid for five (5) years. Only scores issued by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), developer of the TOEIC® and TOEFL® tests, will be considered.
