Resources for Test Takers with Disabilities and Health-related Needs

ETS is committed to providing reasonable testing accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities or health-related needs, as recognized under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act. We treat every request for accommodations on a case-by-case basis and have established policies and procedures that give people with disabilities or health-related needs access to our tests. Some accommodations we offer include extended testing time, extra breaks, a reader, a recorder/writer of answers and a separate testing room.

This section provides information to applicants with disabilities who seek approval of reasonable testing accommodations. Here are a few of the things you can do:

  • Learn about what documentation is necessary to support requests for accommodations
  • See what testing accommodations may be available for the test you’re taking
  • View tips for preparing your documentation and getting ready for the test

Please review all of the materials before submitting your request.
